EUR and EPAL pallets
Standard-size new and used EUR pallets are equally suitable for heat treatment. These pallets meet international trade requirements.
One-way pallets
Lighter one-way pallets can also be heat-treated, making them suitable for export and long-term storage.
Pallet collars and custom wooden packaging
Collar frames for pallets and custom-sized wooden packaging can also be heat-treated to meet export requirements.
Why is pallet heat treatment important?
Heat treatment is key to extending the service life of pallets and to international freight transport. This process takes place at high temperatures, which kill pests, fungi and bacteria living in the wood. Treated pallets comply with the international ISPM-15 standard, which is a requirement in global shipping. Heat treatment is an environmentally friendly solution, as it does not use chemicals.
Preparation
We inspect the pallets in advance to rule out broken or damaged pieces. Only pallets in suitable condition can be heat-treated, as the structural integrity of the wood is crucial during the process.
Heat treatment
We treat the pallets in special heat chambers, where we keep them at a temperature above 56°C for at least 30 minutes. This kills all pests and microorganisms without damaging the structure of the wood.
Certification and marking
We provide the treated pallets with an ISPM-15 certificate, which certifies proper heat treatment. We apply a unique marking to the pallets, which is accepted by authorities and logistics partners alike.
Storage and delivery
We store heat-treated pallets separately to avoid contamination. We deliver them according to our customers' requirements, even directly into international trade.

The advantages of heat-treated pallets
The use of heat-treated pallets offers numerous advantages in logistics and trade. The primary advantage is compliance with international standards, which enables the smooth flow of goods to various countries around the world. In addition, the heat treatment process kills all possible pests and fungi, making the pallets more hygienic and longer-lasting. The process is completely environmentally friendly, as it does not use chemicals, unlike chemical treatments. Heat-treated pallets are also more weather-resistant, which reduces wear and the risk of damage during storage or transport.
